Course description

This course is for participants who wish to work in Germany, or train for a job or do an internship. The course imparts the language and communication skills needed, within a short time.

The course focuses on the skills required in a business situation. After consolidating your grammar knowledge and enhancing your vocabulary, business themes will be covered. Basic everyday situations such as answering the telephone, aspects of meetings, presenting facts and figures, dealing with customers and corresponding professionally will be practised.

The final week of the course will focus on job applications and interview situations. You will also put together a job application folder.

Certificate: Business German

At the end of the course you will receive a certificate. This certificate is internationally recognised and will improve your job prospects. The certificate is issued by the TELC (European Language Certificates) in Frankfurt/Main.

Financiel assistance

This course is certified according to AZWW (Certificate No. WBM-3855HH) and therefore you may be able to obtain a grant from the German Job agency (Arbeitsagentur). Course levels

Our German courses are offered in accordance with the Common European Framework of the European Commission for Language Learning. This framework has six levels A1-A2-B1-B2-C1-C2. Courses are offered at all levels, elementary courses (A1-A2), intermediate courses (B1-B2) and advanced courses (C1-C2).

The following table gives a short explanation of the language skills you will acquire at each level. For each level approx. 250 lessons in an intensive course (5x5) are necessary. For a detailed description of the language skills acquired per course level, click here.
