Course description

This course is for those interested in German literature. Well-known German legends and fairy tales will be covered as well as classic and modern works by German authors and poets.

Open-End course

Open-end courses are continual courses. These courses can be joined at any time.

Course levels

Our German courses are offered in accordance with the Common European Framework of the European Commission for Language Learning. This framework has six levels A1-A2-B1-B2-C1-C2. Courses are offered at all levels, elementary courses (A1-A2), intermediate courses (B1-B2) and advanced courses (C1-C2).

The following table gives a short explanation of the language skills you will acquire at each level. For each level approx. 250 lessons in an intensive course (5x5) are necessary. For a detailed description of the language skills acquired per course level, click here.

You will be able to understand and use familiar everyday expressions. You will be able to introduce yourself and others and ask and answer questions about personal details. You will be able to sustain a conversation on familiar topics and will be able to produce and understand simple texts on a wide range of subjects.
