Schlagermove

A parade of up to 500,000 Schlager (sugary-sweet German pop music) fans and flower-power-decorated trucks through St. Pauli.

38 music trucks are set to roll into Hamburg for the Schlagermove this year, bringing with them 15,000 watts of power for partying schlager fans. This year’s motto “A Festival of Love” will accompany all schlager fans who gather at 15.00 on Friday 10 July 2009 as they begin their convoy through St. Pauli.
