Course description
If you have to work or study during the day or have other obligations, then you can use the evenings to learn a language. Two 90-minute lessons a week do not take up too much of your time and you will still make good progress.
Experienced and friendly trainers ensure your progress. Well-tried resources used in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere will improve your speaking, reading, writing and listening skills.
Course levels
Our German courses are offered in accordance with the Common European Framework of the European Commission for Language Learning. This framework has six levels A1-A2-B1-B2-C1-C2. Courses are offered at all levels, elementary courses (A1-A2), intermediate courses (B1-B2) and advanced courses (C1-C2).
The following table gives a short explanation of the language skills you will acquire at each level. For each level approx. 250 lessons in an intensive course (5x5) are necessary. This means it will take about 2,5 months to complete one level. Please note that you will need roughly 8 months to complete one level in a evening course 2x2. For a detailed description of the language skills acquired per course level, click here.
At the end of every level participants do a Colon exam and a Colon certificate can be issued if requested. From Level B2 the Colon certificates are recognized as proof that your German has reached the level required for admittance to the “Studienkolleg” at German colleges and universities. More detailed information on the Colon certificates is available here.
