Five 45-minute lessons a day means fast results can be achieved in a short time. Experienced and friendly trainers ensure you will make good progress. Well-tried resources used in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere will improve your speaking, reading, writing and listening skills. Current events, cultural activities and economic affairs will be covered in the lessons giving participants the chance to actively participate in the lessons.
Morning course or afternoon course?
Depending on your private or professional commitments you can book an intensive course in the morning from 08:50 to 13:00 or in the afternoon from 13:30 to 17:45.
Our German courses are offered in accordance with the Common European Framework of the European Commission for Language Learning. This framework has six levels A1-A2-B1-B2-C1-C2. Courses are offered at all levels, elementary courses (A1-A2), intermediate courses (B1-B2) and advanced courses (C1-C2).
The following table gives a short explanation of the language skills you will acquire at each level. For each level approx. 250 lessons in an intensive course (5x5) are necessary. For a detailed description of the language skills acquired per course level, click here.
At the end of every level participants do a Colon exam and a Colon certificate can be issued if requested. From Level B2 the Colon certificates are recognized as proof that your German has reached the level required for admittance to the “Studienkolleg” at German colleges and universities. You will be able to understand and use familiar everyday expressions. You will be able to introduce yourself and others and ask and answer questions about personal details.
You will be able to communicate in short conversations in familiar topics (e.g. basic personal and family information, shopping, local geography, employment).
You will be able to give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans.
You will be able to sustain a conversation on familiar topics and will be able to produce and understand simple texts on a wide range of subjects.
You will be able to express your opinion in detail, write essays and read works of literature.
You will be able to spaek German fluently and understand idiomatic expressions.

Participants are required to do a non-binding placement test. The results of this test will be used to evaluate the participant’s level of German and to choose the right course for each participant.
