At Colón, you can choose from German courses for different language levels and learning goals. Our courses are based on the CEFR levels A1 to C2. Depending on availability, you can choose between intensive courses, evening courses, mini-groups and one-to-one tuition.

If you already have some knowledge of German, our online placement test can help you find the course that best matches your current language level.

If you need accommodation during your stay, you can book it together with your German course. On request, we can also arrange a transfer from Hamburg Airport or one of Hamburg’s main railway stations.

Outside the classroom, you can continue practising your German and get to know other participants. Colón regularly organises leisure activities. Our programme also includes an informal get-together on Thursday evenings. This allows you to combine your German course with shared experiences and discover Hamburg from a new perspective.

If you plan to stay in Germany for more than 90 days and attend an intensive German course with at least 18 lessons per week, you will generally need a language course visa.

Colón can provide you with a course registration confirmation and advise you on your course choice, accommodation and visa-related questions.

We offer two intensive courses whose number of weekly lessons can be used when applying for a language course visa or a student visa that includes a German language course.

These are our morning intensive course with 25 lessons per week and our afternoon intensive course with 20 lessons per week.

As visa processing can take several months, we recommend registering early. For more information, please contact us at info@colon.de.
